Best heater brand and best wattage for 25 lagoon?

I was thinking titanium but I’ve read some horror stories, I used to have a finnex and it was fine. Any suggestions on the best brand and a estimate on a good wattage for a lagoon 25 ?

Yeap you are going to need a short heater, one thing nice about the Cobalt heaters is that the cord does not dictate how the heater will lay. Very thin and manageable.

For a tank of your volume, you can even go with the Cobalt Neotherm 75 watt. I ran my Biocube 29 with the 75 and it kept up just fine without any issues.

Do a quick search about neotherms exploding and leaking voltage before you hop on the bandwagon. I replaced my 300watt neotherm death trap for a titanium finnex, amazing heater.

The exploding Neotherms were generally the 200+ watt heater sizes. I do not recall any instances of Neotherms having issues in the lower wattage range. I have a pair of 4 year old 75 watt Neotherms with no issues. In the larger sizes though, I would look elsewhere. For your 25 gallon Lagoon, I would recommend a 75 watt Neotherm with confidence.

it was a problem with just one model, i seem to recall, and they fixed it long time ago.
actually... they either fixed it, or stopped selling that model not sure.
