Great deal guys. Switching now. Finally a brief and frank discussion on what we want. Hopefully the salt folks are listening. Premeasured and accurate bags? YES! Salt crud no more? YES! Great video.

I used some cheap salt to cycle my tank but switched to Tropic Marin Pro as my main salt. Kinda planned it this way from the beginning. I had done allot of research and had viewed some of the previous BRS videos on salt.

Glad I have 2 buckets of TMP sitting at home. After this video and the previous mix video allot of folks might switch.

I agree that many manufactures really need to step up their game. Accurate numbers on buckets and simply something simple mixing charts would be great.

Thanks for a good video..

Chatted with the Tropic Marin rep at RAP in LA. He convinced me, I went home and bought a bucket of Tropic Marin Pro, I am a convert from years of instant ocean (and years of weird precipitates).

Great work BRS

I have considered using tropic Marin pro but the alk says 7? I run mine at 8 using brs 2 part pharma grade. Could use the 2 part to raise it or what would be the recommendation? Are there any that run 8 that BRS highly recommends? Currently use liveaquaria salt. Thanks!
