Hello all, i’m looking into doing a seahorse tank with an Innovative Marine 14g peninsula. I feel like the tank is too big for dwarf ponies, and too small for others. I’m not sure if i’m overlooking a certain species but this will be my first seahorse tank. Therefore, any suggestions or tips that you have would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You are correct in your assessment, a 14 gallon tank is too big for dwarf seahorses and it is too small for the greater seahorse species. Dwarfs should have 5 gallons or less and the greater seahorses should have 30 gallons per pair. Unfortunately there just are not any seahorses available that will work in a 14 gallon tank.
