Hi, I have a 72 gal reef tank with a 20 gal sump and am looking at purchasing a new skimmer. I have narrowed it down to the reef octopus 150int or the full sized ghost skimmer. Opinions /thoughts ? Thanks in advance for your help.

How about aquamaxx cones co-1? it got a very good rating.

Check out the reviews on the SCA-302. I'm running the 301 on my 40B/20L sump, and I gotta say this skimmer rocks! Quality skimmer at a very reasonable price :)

The best one you can afford. The SCA-302 is what I use. it's cheap and I got it used. If you have money to burn, get the Vertex line.

If those are my 2 choices, Im going with the Reef Octopus. Better pump rating, and L/H air intake

Look into the vertex line. I currently have a 150. It outperforms the SRO 2000 that I used to have. I'm thinking about getting the vertex 200

Thanks everyone for the input on the other skimmers. I was hoping for input on the two that I have listed above.
