Best time to dose Alk?

Which would be a better time to dose Alkalinity? When the lights are on or lights off when there's a drop in pH.

The pH is lowest right before the lights turn on, so potentially then. However, it depends on the alk product being used as for some (like bicarbonate) it doesn't matter.

General rule of thumb is when lights are off as it will help raise the PH (as noted above).

I'm dosing 45ml of AFR daily

I’d dose AFR all at once in the early AM. The provides alk during the day when most is used. It has no pH boost so dosing at night is not an advantage.
