Best way to add live sand into reef tank?

Need to add about 50lbs of sand into my 525XL.

What's the best way to add the sand in a reef tank
Before you fill it up.. if already established then use the packet to clear particulates after. Deep tank? Idk...

slowly put the bag on the floor of the tank
cut the bag open from 3 sides

Shut off pumps. Get two inch wide pvc pipe and funnel. Poor sand into funnel and through pvc pipe to bottom of aquarium. Minimal impact to aquarium and sand/dust settles within an hour or two.
