Help and thoughts appreciated!! My tank parameters are as follows: dKH is a steady 8.3 to 8.6 on a Salifert test kit and verified with a Hannah. CA sits on average 440, Mg sits on average about 1360. My PO4 sits at .05 usually and my Nitrates are 24.7. My tank is at 32 gallon BioCube with approximately 25 to 26 gallons of water in it and it's been established and running for just over 7 months. I just lost my second small hammer and I have no idea why and there's no brown jelly going on any help is appreciated although I am kind of thinking maybe it's the peppermint shrimp going after them at night
.

What are your lights and flow like? What other corals do you have in the tank? Can you share a tank pic?

Driving right now but When I stop I can send a pic. A biocube only has three channels for lights and I'm only running about 4 hours of white light everyday because I'm trying to keep a small amount of green hair algae on the decline and then I'm going to ramp that back up but they get several hours of the blue actinic every day.

If it dissappeared over night, then the shrimp is likely your source of frustration. If it just slowly receded, then it wanted more light, and possibly flow. In general, these are my best guess, often repeted tales of woe. Sorry.
