hello
I have a Red Sea reefer 350 which is a 75 gallon tank and 18 gallon sump. I have a small aquariums in my sump and wanted to know if it's enough to make even the smallest of a positive difference to my system. I have a bubble magus 7 which is rated for 125 gallons. If my refugium isn't going to help much I can use the space for reactors in the near future.
I have a Home Depot set up clamp on with 6500 k fluorescent bulb.
Thanks!!

I'm of the personal opinion that if you want effective nutrient export from a macro algae refugium, you should really have a big tank. I mean same size as display or bigger. My opinon is the space would better be used to house a turf algae scrubber if nutrient export is your goal.

Now if a haven for pods is your goal then it would be a good space for that.

Not to say even a small one won't be doing something but I doubt you'd get big returns from a 4 or 5 gallon section for a system that's 30g or larger.

Ok. That's what I was thinking. Maybe I can use it in the near future for calcium or phosphate reactors.
