I want to start a collection of photos of my SPS colonies so people can see them when I start selling frags. My main display is a 175gallon cube which is lit by a 400w Radium bulb and RB and UV leds. I have a 60gallon frag tank attached to the main display. That is lit by a 50" Reefbreeders Photon LED.
My tank parameters are:
Salinity 35ppt
Alk: 8 - 8.5
calc: 420
Mag; 1400
Nitrate: 10 - 15
Po4: Around 0.10

Circulation in the display is handled by 4 Xr250s and 2 Mp40s and the frag tank has 2 xr250s.
Use a calcium reactor and a Kalk reactor hooked up to Masterflex dosing pumps.
I have automatic water changes at approximately 5 gallons a day.

All frags i but come from reputable sources and are demounted from their plugs and dipped and then placed in the tank. I have no pests other than bristle worms if you consider them pests (I don't). All fish are treated in Qt by me before going into the tank. I cant risk getting something now! I have never had any Aiptasia or any other pest/disease in the tank!

All coral photos will include 2 pics. The first photo will be with all lights on at 100% and no filters or editing. The second photo will be with just Royal Blue and UV Leds on and an orange filter with no other editing.


Photos are taken with a cell phone (Pixel 4xl). I a far cry from a photographer.

There is no editing to the photos other than cropping to highlight the colony. The photos I selected are the closest representation to what my eye naturally sees.

Yes. I;'ve had it for a while. It grows well and has really nice colors. Its fun to frag and put in different places in the tank to see how it responds. The colony in my display is getting choked out by my spongodes. I have another colony in my frag tank. Its a classic coral that you wont regret having. A lot of the easier coral, you might regret later because it will become over bearing. PC Rainbow is not one of those. Its also easy to sell frags of!

You sure thats Fox flame? From the picture it reminds me more of BC Battle stag coloration wise but not growth wise. Looks a lot then my fox flame.
