So the MTS has hit and I just bought an AIO 30.2 Waterbox.
This tank will be for a pair of clown fish, corals and nems.
Those who have an AIO system what did you add to optimize the space to filter the most proficiently? We will have a protein skimmer in one of the chambers so any recommendations on nano skimmers are appreciated. In my 70 gallon with 20 gallon sump I put way more bio media than what was labled for the tank and would like to carry over that into this tank. Any and all tips to help keep this tank as easy to maintain as possible are appreciaged! Picture for reference of how the chambers are designed.

If you can find the Tunze 9004 DC for your protein skimmer, grab it.

(.3 x W3.5 x H12 in.)

I’m so new to this stuff and haven’t looked into all the different Tunze equipment. What does this specific one do to enhance the protein skimmer?

It is a nano dc pump protein skimmer, the #s in the first reply is the demsions of that skimmer.

Here is another link for things that should fit your AIO

They make some really nice media baskets
Also ran the blue and white filter pads in my top section and the 100ml bags of Purigen in the lower section.

If you buy a media basket.

Buy the blue and white filter floss in the rolls, and cut the squares to size, it is way more afortable.

If the PLS-50 Elite ii, which used to be cadlights but is now sold by Mode Aquariums fits in your skimmer chamber it’s an absolute beast of a skimmer for an AIO tank.
