As I am gearing up for a red sea max LED retro I found all my pics from a biocube retro i did years back. Thought I would share if anyone had interest. Maybe at least give you some ideas.

added 2 small 40 mm fans to blow across the bulb

used old reflector more as a heat shield

mounted 70 w halide. same fixture for 150w too.

mounted the led moonlights on the back panel

added larger transformer to run the added fans as well as the old ones.

and mounted the ballast in the box.

Just thought I would share some old pics. if it helps one person that is great. I am hoping my LED upgrade on the max is above and beyond this one.

Total cost was about $150 to 170 i believe.
