I don’t know the little blenny really seems to like the little hole behind my duncan. I have to look from the back and side to see him. I’m hoping he decides to find a place it likes better up front. I hope I don’t have a dud.

Put a bit of rock scape rubble there; see if he moves to a better spot. Now’s the time to adjust him before he signs the escrow papers!

I wrote a little eviction notice and placed some police tape around the hole, we’ll see if he gets the hint.

Alright, I need to remove 2/3 of this monstrosity. Pretty sure its the reason I have difficulty targeting my magnesium and calcium targets. My lfs still have frags from the last time I fragged it. Anyone in NE OH or NW PA who wants a free frag, it’s yours. I really don’t want any of my animals in the trash.

Little piggy was out and about in the water column when I just got home from work. Scarfed down mysis until the last bite kept coming back out. Finally, on the third swallow was able to keep it down and he (from now on it will be referred to as a he) retreated to his hole.

I’ve got the hoodie-sweatshirt version - LOL. Varsity QB all 4 years. There was not enough Costco boxes of taquitos/corn dogs/burritos! And that bedroom was worse than a tank sandbed that had not been cleaned.

Omg, you just described my boy’s room! My daughter was the athlete, travel softball from 11-18. Pitching coaches, batting coaches the whole 9 yards!

Alright, had a very nice gentleman stop by from PA. He took a large amount of birds nest, gsp and a monti cap frag. I’m making some headway! Was at my LFS this morning and she said what ever was left she’d just throw in her tank. None of my little animals will find their way to the trash.

Thanks again for hooking me up with all of those frags. They are all fat and happy in my tank now. Hopefully in a year I will be trying to find someone to take some off my hands. Loved seeing your setup and getting the great advice.

Glad to hear! There appears to be nothing stopping the birdsnest from happiness and growth. I hope the monti and gsp does well also. It was nice chatting with you, I really don’t have any local reefers to share the passion with. I will let you know when I start fragging my other corals to see if you are interested.

@ESABOE and @Katrina71 , a quick question. I’ve never had a tail spot blenny before. I did read “what to expect when you are expecting “ before the purchase. As a father of a new tail spot blenny I’ve noticed he only takes about 3 bites of food. I know he is incredibly small and his stomach is puny but he only takes about 3 bites of food and is done. Is that enough? Is he getting more nutrition from other things in the tank? Inquiring minds want to know.
