Hello! I am about 3 months into my 32g Biocube build but I feel like it’s week 3 again. Here’s why: I was unsatisfied with where I had placed the tank. So I broke it down and moved it to be better spot. In doing so my original rock set up was destroyed. It took me about 7 hours to redo the aquascape, during which a lot of my bacteria must have died off in the open air. All members of the tank have survived the move and no one seems to be too upset by it. But it did trigger a mini cycle. I am currently running my tank with an intank modification and I have an extra set of ceramic rings in the area where the refugium will go. I was hoping that would be enough to sustain the change. It’s starting to calm down now, with 25-30% water changes About twice a week.

My biggest concern right now is that a few days before the move I noticed my female clown had a white spot in her tail fin. It didn’t spread like ich does, she wasn’t flashing or rubbing up against anything as if it itched or bothered her. (Bad pic below) But after a few days of adding stress guard it was still there so I decided to pull both clowns out and treat them in the QT with general cure. At that point I had assumed it was some kind of parasite. I did the metroplex and focus with their food.

it has started to diminish is size now but I worry about whether or not I should have treated them at all now.

I have a single pajama cardinal coming to the end of its QT period and I didn’t want to add it if there was a parasite problem in the DT. I bought a pair of cardinals but one died within 24hrs of purchasing. When I took it back to the lfs they had a lot of dead fish in the tanks connected to the tank they came out of and there were no pajamas left to replace the dead one. The other has been fine. I test daily in the QT and do major water changes bc I’m running it without the bio filter.

I’ll get some pics of my tank posted soon.

7-hours to scape a 32 gallon BioCube must be a new World Record! Lol. :)

Welcome to R2R. Seems like you are off to a nice star; I’m betting your Clown will be fine.
It was brutal lol!

I was going for a certain look (which I’m not sure I achieved) and once I’m committed it have to finish a project. and I for sure did not want to have to do it again. I left room to add more but mostly created some archways and shelves.

I have a question about the yellow watchman goby and a tiger pistol shrimp. I’ve had the goby for about three weeks now and I just added a pistol today. My question is how long will it take for the two to notice each other? The goby is in the display and the shrimp is behind the rock scape. How do I get each other to meet and how do I get them to pair up?
