I picked up a used Biocube that I thought was a 32. I based this on the LED top has "Biocube 32 V3" on the LED wafer board. I need to use it to dose prazi so I decided to measure the water going in. When I topped out at 20 gallons I was perplexed. I started to do some measurements and I don't think it is a 32 but I don't know what it is. It doesn't align to any other Biocube measurements that I can find.

Any ideas?

Size of the stand is 21 1/4" x 21 1/4" and the tank is 20" x 20" across the back and side (this isn't counting the extra width of the slight bow in the front). Where it really throws off from any Biocube measurements that I have seen is the height. It is 16" high.

Any guesses?

I think you have a biocube 29 gallon. My 32 gallon is 19 inches where yours is 16 inches. Same lid for both.

I guess the measurements I was seeing had been the box dimensions maybe. 20 gallons to fill an empty tanks is a far bit away from 29. I suppose it’s a benefit. Less meds to dose.
