More reef-pi pitcures, I have both the hs300 and dj8 outlets working, and temp probes. I'm using a raspberry pi 3 A+ with with @Michael Lane hat, USB boot and running from a m.2 sata drive, . All of my connectors going in and out of my pencil case are JST-SM connectors, allows me to change things up and have one connector type going in the enclosure.

If anyone has any questions let me know, couple of pictures are from what I came up with for wire management going to the drawer, looking up they are bungee cords, I think from initial test that this will work like I want and keep the cords some what controlled.

More to follow, but the basic build is complete, I can add ATO, PH, lights and dosing as required, just throw the connectors and configure it up.

:)

Updates....been much longer than I wanted but life gets in the way, I will take more pictures tomorrow and try to detail everything back out. I am currently cycling the tank on week 2+, ammonia is dropping off and nitrite is pretty high, hoping it continues to slog on and will be ready for fish soon.

Here is what I have currently working, ATO, viparspectra with moon lights, Aqamai KPS powerheads (2), fuge light (inexpensive amazon grow light) and three temp sensors (sump, tank and drawer ambient). Here are some updated pics:

Placed an outlet high with light along with low voltage chase:

Viparspectra with moon lights controlled via #reefpi see @Michael Lane for build thread - https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/controlling-viparspectra-lights.698216/

ATO build consists of three floats, 2 in sump and one in ATO storage container controlled via reef-pi. The 2 sump floats are for setting level, primary and backup. The float in the ATO storage container is for low water level to disable the pump when the water runs low. There is another ATO float in the storage container that is mounted higher to turn on an LED to notify that the water is getting low. The LED is mounted on the drawer front. Using an 5v USB based pump for the ATO pump all controlled by #reefpi.

Will try to take some additional pictures of what the drawer is looking like along with the power strips and reef-pi. Still have a doser to attach and a ph probe. If anyone has any questions let me know :)

Here are the latest updates, Doser installed and after almost 4 weeks of cycling the tank new FISH additions to the tank, 2 clowns and one royal gramma. I also included a couple of drawer pictures, for the most part the drawer is working out, cable management and routing is a pain but isn't it always.

Reef-Pi build out, only thing I have left to do is a PH module:

Power strip layout, TP-Link Kasa HS300 and a DJ power strip:

New additions, Yay! :)

Tried to get a picture of the royal gramma but he/she still runs and hides when I get close, sorry for the bad pic:

Would like to add at least 2 if not 3 more small fish but will see how these three settle in first. Currently running without the lights for next couple of months to try to let things settle in and try to minimize the ugly stuff.

Next up on the to-do list:

Near Range plans:
Pico coral/invert/cuc QT tank ( will QT Cheato also for couple of weeks)
Find a clean source for pest free Chaeto for fuge, waiting for when I start seeing excess nutrients, trying to not over feed currently
Add PH module to monitor tank via #reefpi

Long range plans:
Set up a couple of fans controlled by #reefpi for moving air through drawer and cabinet.
Set up dosing once corals have been added and need additional elements
I'm sure there will be more that I haven't thought about yet....

:)
