I think I may have saved this recent torch I got. Came in the mail, one head was retracted. After 1 whole day it started to swell and cap over. I immediately took bone cutters, fragged off the bad head, did an iodine dip that also contained about 5ml of peroxide for about 1 minute and 2 days later this beauty re emerged. Hopefully I caught it in time. I did 2ml of iodine dip in a cup of tank water with 5ml of peroxide added. Any thoughts? Has anyone ever tried this as well.

Use a 3/8” tube and siphon it up. Then give it very gentle bursts with a turkey baster to clean any debris
