Transfered this blenny because it was terrorizing new fish ( it had had rule of 30g tank for 2 months). Put it in the 90,...got chased for 10 minutes max...but I think it hurt itself in the process. Fast forward 2 weeks, white spot on tail, everyone is happy, all are eating fine.

Fast forward 2 weeks...blenny has a hole in his upper fin. Shows no abnormal behavior. Eats fine. Blenny, Tang and red coris wrasse all seem to get along fine. NO aggression from fish. Blenny has plenty places hide in.

Its probably only matter of days before fin hole spreads and does start to bother blenny. Any recommendations? Do I need to QT to dose kanaplex?

It looks like there is a halo around a smaller spot. That is a pretty common reaction to a secondary bacterial infection as a result of an injury - the bacteria spreads out in a circular pattern.
It may be self limiting and get better on its own. If you do decide to treat in a hospital tank, I’d suggest tryin Neoplex first.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
