Black Widow Anemones

Hello to my fellow reefers. For those of you looking for black widow anenomes I have 6 to 7 of them in various sizes. The Small size which average 1 to 2 inches in diameter at the base are $50 EACH, while other larger ones with a base of 3 inches plus are $60 each. Your pick. These are hearty black widows that I feed large Benepets pellets and every now andthen some frozen mysis. With a routine feeding most likely you will end up with a new baby. These things split once every few months. Im getting too many and need to share them to the community. I live close to the Downtown Cleveland area. Pickup only. Shipping Im not a fan of due to the issues with shippers and hot temps this summer that makes it difficult for these to arrive happy and healthy. Cash only. No checks or trades ( or scams ) please.

I been considering it as of late. My hesitation is past issues with both major shipping companies and their delays that at times means the Anenome doesn't arrive healthy. Right now is a good time to ship when it comes to temperatures in my area. Let me look into proper shipping supplies and I'll follow up.

Most likely I will have plenty available at that point in time still. So far I havent found anyone in my area that is interested. Everyone is requesting shipping which Im seriously thinking about doing. I just dont like it when I take the time and effort with good packaging to send someone a healthy specimen and then the shipper has it sitting on a hot dock for 2 days due to some issue they have. Then the customer gets it and the thing is in bad shape. Its always a fingers crossed situation if it goes well. These black widows I have seem to really like the tank setup I have as they grow fast and continue to split every few months. Im in a situation where I have to get rid of some or my tanks is going to be all widows smothering everything else. Im going to get some shipping supplies together and due some weather forecast studying. If I can get a solid window with temps in the 70's I would feel comfortable shipping. From what I have heard our temps are finally mid to upper 70's for the coming weeks.

Hello everyone. Just an update. I ordered some shipping supplies today ( Bubble Wrap, heat packs, Styrofoam boxes, etc. ). Area temps look good for early next week so Monday may be a good target ship day (75 to 76 degrees in the daytime / 62 at night). Shipping will be 45.00 BUT those that are interested if you want to send me your address I can go online and see if the rates will be less if you live in a nearby state. I'm not a fan of UPS or FedEx but will most likely use Fed Ex due to the drop off center in my area is in a nice indoor area until the shipment gets picked up for transport. Small Anenomes are 50 and the larger ones are 60. Unfortunately, I only have 2 small ones and the remaining 6 are large to extra large.
