I have a few questions about this fish :p
What makes this fish so hard to take care of?
Why do they need a 250 gallon tank if they only reach around 3"?

Probably because they hide so much and need bigger food to eat that they will only eat in the nighttime/dark, so you never really know if they are actually eating it or not (unless you are watching with a red light on or something like that).

They like live in eels mouths have a symbiotic relationship with them...only one Ive ever seen was at an actual aquarium at an over nighter kinda thing.

They certainly arnt common.

WOW!! That is pretty cool. Thanks for the info :D

They don't need a 250, that's an odd stat, 40g will suffice.

Once added to a tank, these guys disappear. They are completely nocturnal, you will never see them.

How do you feed them?

Some specimens I've seen are little live mysids, others would eat frozen.
