Blasto with translucent tissue?

hi friends, lfs said this blasto came in translucent like the photo. it is fully opened and seems healthy but i can’t imagine why the tissue would stay like this. anyone have experience with such an issue? i’m worried it’s deficient in something or fighting an infection.

edit: photo is ab+ spectrum with a yellow lens cover.

thanks! would lower light help it as well? it's probably in about 80-90 PAR right now

If it extends I'd leave it where it is. If it starts closing up, move it to a slightly shaded area. Blastos are tough. One of mine likes to die off every few months/once a year, loses all tissue. When that happens I place it under an overhang and within a month or so its tissue starts coming back. After about 3 months it's like nothing ever happened.

thanks, it's started extending along the base of the plug as it gets fluffier. hoping it stays pinkish when it's back to 100%. :) i appreciate you all!

That should be good my blastos sit around 200-250 but I do have a mixed reef with sticks so I have high PAR throughout. You could also use acclimation mode if that function is available to you
