Yup, older photo in my smaller tank, surprisingly it took a few months for those two to go in considering gigsantea are natural anemones for occies. My other tank the storm pair went immediately but they were always more open to going into the nems regardless of species

Here is the not so bleached one, probably nothing more to report on this guy unless he gets some crazy rainbow hues. I am pleased how he turned out and that he survived. I will update this thread with pics from time to time.
Unfortunately i lost my big purple gig due to reasons unknown. It was doing well for a month, treated and never deflated, and then it started the downward spiral. It crashed after i used flatworm exit which may have been the culprit to its demise.

Here is the true blue one, he shared the rank with the giant purple i lost so I'm keeping close eye on him.

Last photo i promise, the three gigs, the green star polyp will have to serve as the green gig until i get lucky and find one that lives. The true blue one is in my mixed reef shown below

I moved the small purple to the tank containing the blue gig due to the above two shading it out. I accidently caused some tears in the small purples foot but it doesnt appear to have caused it any distress

Awesome Giganteas! Where do you keep your nitrates and phosphates at? Do you also have a ATO?

Got another question for ya - do you run carbon? I've always wondered if Giganteas are capable of chemical warfare amongst each other.
I don't know if it's chemical warfare per se, but in many tanks I've seen with multiple gigs, one gig is typically larger than the others.

That was certainly my experience. I had a thriving and growing green gigantea, and after adding a small blue one, the blue grew and the green slowly shrank over a couple of years.

Wanted to update this thread with some not so good news. Ended up loosing my gigs in the larger tank. Not sure what happened but after being stable for months they just started the deflate inflate cycle and could not be saved. All this coincided with a fwe treatment. I just keep haddoni now in the larger tank. My original two gigs are doing great and continue to grow. I picked up this guy a few days ago. Seems to be good for now.

Yeah pretty demoralizing, especially since i took the time to medicate and qt all of them, makes me think its something else at play than bacterial, at least in my case

Update on the bleached one, i lost my original blue one a few months back. He had a large salmon meal and a large turbo fell into the carpet and was ingested. It crashed fast after that. I no longer spot feed and the growth seems to have slowed which is nice
