Just got this Tangerine Spirit. Is it bleaching? It is acclimating on 2nd day at around 100 par.

It looks like rtn - rapid tissue necrosis. Its unknown exactly what causes it, but generally some change in water chemistry will do it, I've had it happen to my acro's when the alk shifts suddenly.

It looks like it will be gone by tomorrow, I would try to find a healthy branch and frag it off and hope for the best. Thats too bad it looked like it was a nice frag. Good luck

RTN can spread throughout the tank, right? I’m getting it out of there. Alk has been stable for a long time.

No not anything that I’m aware of unless you’re dealing with acro bugs. That’s more bjd. I would suggest snip the large branch off and reglue to frag plug and hope for best. I would increase par 100 is still low even if it’s new imo. What are other parameters and is there enough flow

Ehh I wouldn’t be too certain. I know they have standard doa but I think unless you got the reef insurance then you might be out of luck. You can still save it just cut the top part off and it will regrow
