Saw some one else request a blenny ID and it gave me this idea.
This is a blenny I kept around 12 years ago. Got him at an LFS simply labled "blenny". Pics attached, not the best but they should be ok.
Mostly very dark grey, almost black top, fading to silver belly. Had blue irredescent "freckles" and blue trim around fins.

He was one of my most favorite fish I've ever kept. Just an absolute blast to watch, had endless personality.
After around 3 years he somehow got out of the tank (with a hood) and managed to crawl to a completely different room and didn't survive.

Definitely Istiblennius sp., possibly Istiblennius zebra which have variable coloration.

Yep, looks like some of the pictures of a zebra blenny. Seems there are also two species going around as a "zebra" blenny, but this is definitely one of them. Thanks.
