What if any would be the effect of just having the blue leds lit on my tank???? 12cree royal blue

You are limiting your lighting spectrum by just using one.

You'd be short changing the photosynthesis of any symbiotic corals in the system. Both chlorophyll a and b have blue and red absorption peaks... the red constituting the lions share. See below:

those be nice at night but i do agree you need some white lights as well so everything will grow and color up nice, but i could be wrong, try it out and see what happens. good luck
