Hi everyone i’m thinking of getting some blue legged hermit crabs for my 20 gallon because i need soms cuc and i really like them. But i’m really scared of them eating my corals. What are your guys experience?

They'll eat algae, left over food. They haven't eaten corals, but they can be a bit clumsy walking over corals or knocking corals with their shells. Have a few spare shells for them to upgrade to in time.

Never had a problem with them and corals other than after awhile they get pretty big and turn into bulldozers. Especially in a tank as small as a twenty gallon

I have not had any issues other than they may kill the occasional snail. They are coral safe in my experience

Out of all the hermits I've ever had I've seen 2 eating at my corals. Reef safe for the most part but there is a chance of the occasional rogue.
