Maybe the reason why you can't find the site is because the site owner got bit by one?

The Blue ringed octopus is only dangerous if you mess with them. They bite on a last resort. That's why if you are an expert aquariest and know how to handle them there is nothing to worry about. World wide there has been only 2 known deaths recorded due to a blue ringed octopus.

They are hard to find and I think you need to look into the laws of having one I believe you need a permit depending on the state. I would be very careful because they are smart and will escape how would you deal with a stressed Octo on the floor that can kill you

That is why I have a customized enclosed tank. I have looked at the laws there are no laws saying that you cant own one really! The only way the Blue Ringed octopus kills is the tetrodotoxin makes your throat swell to the point where it suffocated the victim. If the Victim can make it to a hospital in time and get get a breathing tube in them they will more then likely survive.

Hey my friend. Been a while since I talked to you. You want to keep a venomous pet?

We grew up with the little cuties over here in OZ.
Just don't pick the up. They are found in rock pools where i spent half of my childhood in.

They have not been offered as frequently as they used to. Stores that get transhipped orders directly from the locales should be able to source one. Be patient and incredibly careful.

I still don't think it's a good idea to keep a venomous pet... imagine if a toddler got involved. smh

Thank you! I've been looking for one but the chances of one being shipped here to northern ohio is 1 to none. Thats why I am looking for one that can be shipped to me!

I guess it is no different than keeping venomous reptiles which is done all the time. As long as the proper precautions are taken (locked, escape proof tank) , I don't see any issues with keeping them. That being said, I would never keep one lol.

As long as you can keep it locked in the tank it's no different than keeping venomous snakes. I have a few rattlesnakes, eyelash vipers, and some Cobras. It's all about the precautions :). And yes I would love to have a blue ringed
