i got this guy but he doesnt want to eat nothing i give him, any ideas guys

He is probably stressed because he is out in the open. Give him some cover and he will likely eat once he settles down.

That is true, he needs a cave. Then feed him clams

i havent tried clam, but i did try mysis, krill, seaweed, arctic pods. imma add some live rock in the display to build a cave. ill keep you guys updated

The are opportunistic eaters. It is likely stressed. I wouldn't worry too much unless you plan on keeping him in there for a while without cover

I guess you found out he won't eat that stuff you mentioned. Feed fish or clams, even earthworms.

They eat worms but have trouble holding on to them because they are so small and lobster mouth parts are not that great at small foods. They do better with chunks

Hello ! Do you think one of these stunning spiny blue lobsters will eat existing live tridacna clams ? Always wanted one but difficult to find one in Europe. But now I might have a possibility...

I ate a few of those lobsters a few days ago. But asa to your question, I doubt they will eat your clam, but they will walk all over it and probably tear the mantle so much that it dies, then it will eat it. They will eat almost anything.

Fishing for lobster I have found they will eat ANYTHING you bait the traps with, although they really seem to prefer salmon heads. having kept them in tanks before anytime you throw some food in there they would all instantly start looking for the food source. If it's not reacting to the scent of food in the water let alone food placed in front of it there must be something wrong. Is the water free of ammonia and proper temp for the species? Also maybe it's getting ready to molt and perhaps they don't eat when that occurs. It is not stressed from not having any caves to hang out in. They aren't called the roaches of the ocean for no reason. Have you tried lights off for a few days then fed it.
