- I don't regularly test for Nitrate or Phosphates, I let my corals do the talking for me. If they are happy and fluffy with good polyp extension then I don't worry about it. When things start to look unsettled I'll test.
I do test CA & ALK with Hanna once a month to make sure my Trident is working well.
Trident Tests CA & MAG twice a day, ALK 4 times a day.

- I currently have my protein skimmer turned off as I am trying to raise my nitrates slightly. Overall strategy is consist with water chemistry. I let my corals tell me if something is off. Or excess algae.

- What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
- STABILITY, I Sound like a broken record here but I let my livestock do the talking for me. I don't chase numbers. I they are happy then I keep doing what I'm doing. Even if it's against the norm (aka skimmer off with 11 fish and twice daily feedings)
