Boat or RV? EDIT: Decision made!

Boat for sure. There is something therapeutic about skidding across water, fast, under the rays, that is majestic . Have you ever seen someone sad on a jet ski? I just think of traffic lights and difficult parking with an RV. No speed limit on open water, unless you’re in a no wake zone. Maybe just a pop up camper to get your feet wet lol

We got a boat! Yea!! We decided that a boat would get a lot more use. In order to make either a worthwhile expense, we would have to use it at least 2x per month and that just wouldn’t happen in an RV. We have a granddaughter we’re raising that’s only 2, farm animals, and aging dogs. Hopping in an RV and taking off would be nearly impossible without making all kinds of arrangements. We would use a boat a lot more. Hey... we have water all around us... lakes, rivers, the Gulf and all its inlets, Mobile Bay and estuaries... the list is endless. We got a Suntracker 16’ Bass Buggy.... black and cream. It’s small but a great size for “just us” and it has everything we want. Can’t wait to put it in the water!

Good for you! Congratulations!!!

Awesome choice, it is always best to start small with a boat and make sure you like it vs going big and having to deal with all the issues that come with a bigger boat.

Enjoy your new getaway

Woot! Congrats!

Lol, understand the animals issue and level of preplanning involved.

The boat will definitely get more use!

Have a fantastic weekend.

I personally love my RV. My family and I are traveling cross country at the moment and almost to Death Valley ca at the moment. We also have a speed boat that we haven’t used once this year and are considering selling it. However, we only live by the Ohio river and a few lakes and it would probably be more enjoyable if we lived on the gulf.

Here’s a few pics from the trip so far. You can see the rv on the far right side of the first pic lol
