Well I just picked one up, gorgeous fish!
He/she is swimming as though something is wrong and hanging out at the bottom of the aquarium. By swimming wierd it can't 'float' like most fish seem to do. He seems to 'sink'.

Any ideas on what's going on? He/she was QT'ed for 2 months before purchase from the person I received it from.

Any idea on what could be wrong?

Sounds like a swim bladder issue.....If the swim bladder is injured they will not be able to create the buoyancy they need to swim and float.

Is there any cure?

Surgery?

Ok not surgery..... haha

What would you do when the place you got the fish from is about 3 hours away?
