Thinking of adding a bar of glass along the bottom inside perimeter as a bottom eurobrace. Maybe like 1/2" x 2" or thereabouts. Does anyone have any pointers on how to actually get in there and get it siliconed? Never done this before. Thanks!

Did you ever end up doing this?
I did not. I just reinforced the stand with 2040 bars:

That by itself was stretching my skills. I don't thin I would have been able to do a good job eurobracing the tank. Glass is super expensive too. What I did end up ading was a 1/2" thick layer of acrylic between the tank and stand that extended to the front of the tank so the front glass isn't levitating over nothing.
