Whoa boy, never seen my bowerbanki do this before. I usually see some tentacle tips during the day but this is the first time I've seen it go full blown facehugger after dark. Is it happy or angry? Should I feed it?

Since many LPS prey items are active at night, many will 'blossum':

'Button Scolly' starting the same feeding process during the day:

They can be trained to extend their tentacles during the day like this by first squirting some food juices on them and then waiting a few minutes as they transition from the tentacles hidden 'Photosynthesis mode' to the tentacles expanded 'Feeding mode'.
