Wesley - I sent you the picture of the BPC i Purchased From Sexy Corals. I sent you the peice it morphed into after I fragged it and placing it in LED's . I also explained that to you. I did not in anyway try to mislead you. Everyone on here who knows me knows I am a collector and have it all. Remember you contacted me questioning a sponser of R2R.

With this said, You dont want the piece then dont by it. My bad it morphed or Mikes bad for sell me a fake.

Joanne,

Below is a picture of the mother colony you sent to me. I did not question the validity of this picture, because this is not the frag that you offered to sell me.

BPC4.jpg

Now if a frag of the above mother colony morphed into the below picture, of course I am going to question whether the frag is indeed a BPC Flamethrower. All I am going on is the pictures that you have sent me.

I have read a few posts where LED's have changed the color on some corals. If your fragged changed, well that's great. All that I was trying to do was find out if the frag was actually a BPC Flamethrower. Could you possibly post progression shots of the actual frag that you are selling? Maybe through those pictures, I as well as other R2R members, can see the actual change in color (green spec on rim).

I understand that you were not trying to mislead me in any way. I just needed confirmation from my fellow reefers if the chalice in question appeared to be the BPC Flamethrower. You as a reefer should understand that when you purchase a coral, you hope that it is indeed the exact coral that you have requested for.

If you are a very well known collector here on R2R, that is great. I'm glad that the R2R community recognizes you and your collection of corals. I apologize that I am not familiar with who you are.

Also, I did contact you last week concerning a R2R sponsor. I wanted to see an actual customer frag of the Cherry Sour chalice. I love the pictures that the sponsor posts, but I wanted to see how the Cherry Sour looked inside of a reefers aquarium.

With all that being said, I am still interested in purchasing the BPC Flamethrower. All that I wanted was confirmation on the chalice and from the pictures you sent me, many reefers here have questioned it too.

Mike - Do you recall selling me the BPC?

Yes if this is the piece you got from me in 2010 then it's 110% the bpc ft. Lineage is I got about 10 bpc frags from coralfarmer123 back then and it was one of them. The proof is also back in 2010 there was no other chalice out there even looking close to the bpc ft. All these rainbow or yellow rim pieces came in at the beginning of 2012 and here is the first ever release of the dynamite back then.

https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/sexy-corals/77023-sexy-wait-over-sc-dymanite-bammmm.html

So that's the lineage and proof on my end.

Wesley - I proved my point. It is not for sale to you any more. I will just keep the darn thing. I thought I was helping you out since you were only going to settle on the Cherry Corals Cherry Sour but questioned thier pictures.
Have a nice day guys. Im over this.

I have owned 3 different pieces of the BPC Flamethrower. I have never seen it get green in the rim.. and the blue is more of a bably blue.

If you guys know joann you would know that she is dont need to lie to anyone. She can easily by my whole collection today if she wants hahhahah.. So if she says it's the bpc then it is. The only thing I can think of is if frags got mixed up and it was an honest mistake. I would mix up too if I had hundreds of frags that look alike.

It is what it is. I have no reason to lie. I dont make a living selling these things. I collect them. I recently decided to start collection scolys and such so that is the only reason i offered this guy the frag.

Problem is, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's probably a duck...lol. Bottom line is pic doesn't look like an authentic BPC Flamethrower. I think that is pretty much the consensus here

It is what it is. Take it or leave it. For the sake of this I will add back to orginal tank and see what happens. Sorry for the drama ladies but dont question my intergity I have no reason to fake a BPC Flamethrower.

I'm not sure anybody is questioning your integrity, we're just saying what the pic looks or doesn't look like. Also, no ladies here...lol

Understood. Miss Wesley questioned it more forwardly in his facebook PM.

Please disregard from any type of name calling. R2R is for mature reefers only.

This thread was created for the sole purpose of verifying if the posted pictures proved if it was a BPC Flamethrower.

Joanne, sorry we weren't able to complete this transaction.

Please don't take my thread or any comments offensively.

Just know that I wasn't calling you a liar, I just needed confirmation from my fellow reefers since the frag didn't look 100% like the mother colony.

I saw an old post of your SC Dynamite colony. Great job in growing it out. She sure looks SEXY.

Hopefully one day, you can post pics of all your chalices before you sell them off to new reefers.

Happy reefing, no hard feelings and hope to see you around the forums (if you behave properly).

I think its a nice looking piece so I'll take it if you guys don't want it. If anyone wants to know the real name of it.....and any other coral for that matter....its "mother natures" coral.

Man I don't know Joann personally but I do know she's a hardcore collector. Look at the numerous threads that people discuss their chalices or lps morphing under LEDs. If she says its the BPC FT then it is.

Wesley,

I don't think anyone can blame you for doing some basic research before purchasing a very expensive piece - any bit of doubt would really eat at me if I wasn't 100% sure and went ahead anyway and had to stare at that thing every time I looked at my tank.

Like I mentioned before, it doesn't look like the BPC and I wouldn't purchase it for that reason - Save the cash and purchase a piece you feel comfortable with!

Cheers
