I would get some dry rock for your tank and some live sand. Live sand is just sand that has beneficial bacteria in it. Dry rock is gonna be the best bet because the tank is so small that any pests in live rock could be very bad.I have an empty tank and a piece of dead coral. I have a heater that was handed down with the tank. I'm confused with live sand and live coral. What would you use as a substrate that might have benefits to help keep the tank balanced? Do you think 2 tiny fish and 2 shrimp would be possible?
I disagree I’ve seen plenty of clowns house in 5-8g8g is slightly small for a clown.. unless it's hosting a nem. Preferably you'd have at least a 15g. I listed some nano fish a few posts ago

We're in Callyfornia, don't have that here. NiceBringing home about 10lbs of rock from the ocean. Also 1/2 gallon of ocean water. Curious to see if anything pops out of them.
