It’s nice to hear/see kids with manners. Sad these days that it’s the exception rather than the rule or so it has been my experience anyway. Keep on momming the way you do need young adults like him more than ever

My mom woulda cried LOL
I disagree. My own kids and their peers mostly have really good manners (9-12 yo). I am not saying all kids, but seeing mine and kids like Andrew make me feel like this world has a real chance to improve. It’s nice to hear/see kids with manners. Back from dinner. Proud parent moment...the booth behind us overheard it was Andrew's birthday dinner. They wanted to compliment him for being polite and articulate. They gave him $10 for his birthday. (He held the door open for them to check out the daughters)

You go girl....I openly call kids out. Even other people's.
That is awesome. You are always so good at turning it around and teaching them something. Smart lady. There was a High School football player that tossed his money at me like a stripper to pay for breakfast. I tossed it back and said "you wanna hand that to me like a man?" He never did it again, and uses please, thank you, and ma'am every time now!
We do, I promise!!Parents in the north need to start parenting like yourself and us in the south. No doors would be left un-held and “thank you”s ignored.

Trying to figure out, waitress or cashier.... any way a friend haven't seen some time, 81 years old, waitress and opens closes shop. She's not the owner. Incredible. Owns, few homes. There was a High School football player that tossed his money at me like a stripper to pay for breakfast. I tossed it back and said "you wanna hand that to me like a man?" Shots fired! Unfortunately we had a war already and lost :/Parents in the north need to start parenting like yourself and us in the south. No doors would be left un-held and “thank you”s ignored.
