Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

Describe the two. I'll be able to tell you. My first thought is branching, but not sure.

It will grow in a mat over the rock like a carpet that's encrusting. The other gets a smaller mat and then has little fingers or branches come off of it.
And both are pretty.

Welcome to R2R! No name calling here!!!

Oh it will. I've actually only completely killed gsp in the tank once.
Then it grew back 10 months later.

Talented Eh?!

Im not sure which kind i have... its neon green, encrusted and reaches? Had to move it away from other rocks. And image curtosy of the lense you recommended 10 pages back :)

If (when) it gets too large, I can just prune it?

Yep, clip it, glue it to a plug and see if your LFS will give you some credit for it. Some do.

Most places will tell you they sell more of the corals people call weeds than anything else.

Yup encrusting or matting. From time to time It'll get little nubs like a branch too. Just pluck em.
