Ive actually been trying to lose some weight, soooo... dont mind if i do.

Mine is bigger(not braggin') I think I'll have lower flow too unless my math is off.
Nice. Yea mine came drilled, and I didn’t want to risk drilling it again.

The timing was weird buying my tank. We didn’t know we were moving yet so I could of done quite a bit bigger. Oh well. I’m sure in a year or two I’ll be ready for another upgrade lol.

Kinda where I'm at. This tank was expensive new. If I drill it and...I wouldn't be able to afford to replace it.

lowering the flow will makes the sounds go away but in return give you less turnover.
The noise level that decreases isn’t that much even at half power oddly enough. My acros are doing good and encrusting finally so I don’t want to lower the flow to much. It’s a struggle. And my gyres... I just don’t know.. I can’t get them to blow where I want them to. I need you guys teleported here! Lol.

See how it is. You will not need a huge turnover relying on the refugium. You can lower the flow if needed.
as long as there is enough flow to move the macroalgae around.

Are you using RFG too?

I know it won't be silent. I'm just hoping to optimize what I have to work with.
my tank is absolutely quiet, the only thing i hear is the air pump.

Once you get experienced running Durso, you can always find a clever way to run an outside return line if needed to convert. You will be a pro by then.
