Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

You do mean actinic, right?

[Katrina71]

That's what I've been doing basically.

Umm whut?
It's a 2 tube? On white one actinic?

[Katrina71]

White LED modification? I'd be cool with that. Show me something you'd recommend.

Oh good. I thought you were on a short cycle because of alge

[Katrina71]

Yes 1 white 1 actinic. Led moonlights.

[Katrina71]

Yes I did shorten it for some ugly things growing in there. No more algae. Cyano is looking lovely.

I know you don't need 16feet in the tank. But basicly this kind of thing will work.

Cyano is looking lovely.

Nice splash of color.
I ran a 5 g nano with a single tube like yours and those leds for 2.5 years on my desk.

The best growing coral was a blastomussa merletti.

Not Xenia? :)

[saltyfilmfolks]

Not Xenia? :)

No, I kept that in my main display.

[Katrina71]

Thanks for the advice. It's appreciated.

[Katrina71]

What a lovely tank...

[Katrina71]

No, I kept that in my main display.

The only thing I see lacking in this tank is some cyano. That would really make the Xenia pop.

[saltyfilmfolks]

I just couldn't keep it alive no matter how much I bought.

[Katrina71]

I'm excellent with it. Not tryin' to be a show off.

[Katrina71]

Do mushrooms actually anchor like an anemone? Booger is more of a nomad. This little guy is so tiny I hope he does. I tried to find a little hole for him.

[saltyfilmfolks]

The mushrooms and I have a mutual respect. I don't control them, they behave.

o_O

Yup, once they find a happy spot they'll attach. It's often a lower flow that's pretty laminar.

[Katrina71]

I guess if he doesn't like it, he'll wiggle around. At least this time I know they move. Yea, I'm just like the clown :(

[saltyfilmfolks]

lol.
