Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

Exactly what I want! Color coded too if I can.

I had a book of numbers and letters that are stickers from home depot. I used RP for return pump and if I had 2 it would be RP1 and RP2. SK for skimmer and did that for the rest of the cords.

What is this wire management voodoo of which you speak?! ;)

Funny, here you have to hunt one down.
lol. same over here, but i atleast go and help customers the other guys are either lazy or dont know nothing. well i atleast did... i dont work there no more.

So I just quickly drew a shop drawing to make sure we had enough sump capacity for drain down during power outages and to allow for pumps like the Sicce 2.0 and Eheim 1260. I am an old dog so no fancy 3D computer generated pictures from me. I may need to darken up the drawing but this is a general idea based on the dimensions Katrina 71 gave me.

is 5" skimmer section small for most skimmers? just incase the skimmer she has fails, others skimmers may be a tad bit bigger.

I agree with @Musovski, maybe widen that chamber by a couple of inches to accommodate bigger skimmers if the need arises. Otherwise I think it’s a great design, and you’re awesome for doing it.

I spy an Oxydator in that sump. I have that same one that I bought for my new tank, but of course it is still dry. Have you had it long and are you happy with it? What concentration of Hydrogen Peroxide do you use and how many catalysts? Tell me again how big your tank is? Sorry for the off topic question @Katrina71 :p
