Looks more like a Fiji than a Pukani. I would start curing it now from the looks of it. Bleach then RO/DI soak to get some of the Phosphates out.

Definitely cure them then. I bet it is chock full of Phosphate. Is it definitely real ocean rock? Just does not seem that porous but may just be the picture.
