Stand came and I built it, seems sturdy. Do you guys think I should put a piece of plywood or something on top of the metal or is it good as is? Also it will be in a room with carpet. Should I put something on the bottom or is it fine to have my sump on the carpet. This thing will be enclosed eventually.

Haven’t cleaned it yet but I’m gonna soak in vinegar/RODI, take the pump apart, clean it. Should be like new hopefully. It only had 6 months of use on it.

Haha, I meant the one I sent Katrina! But that's also good to know :D

Break in period is a pain after a full clean like that, but such is life!
