The beginning of my saltwater closet
Been busy with this home plumbing issue. Haven’t had time unfortunately. They are telling us they need to dig a trench through our house and basically redo the whole plumbing to the main sewer system. We would need to stay in a hotel for a week while they work as well, and I guess board the cats and idk about my tanks..They quoted us $35,000 to fix it :mad:;Jawdrop, so I’m trying to work with the HOA to at least help with some of that since this wasn’t caused by us, just a bad plumbing design and old system. It’s really been a nightmare. I’m so tired of driving to Target to go to the bathroom...
I just changed the water on the Betta tank and checked Alkalinity on the reef. Is that fun? Seemed like it was compared to the laundry I was also doing.
Man, thats a brutal situation to say the least....Wish you the best! Just had to have the pipes at my fathers place drilled to clear through roots that blocked it out. The camera they sent in showed the pipe misaligned where it meets the main sewer line too. Just drilling the blockage was 3K. We haven’t quoted the bigger repair yet but I just vomited in my mouth a little.
That’s exactly what we have going on here. Massive tree roots breaking through the pipes causing it also to be misaligned. Bad design with no clean makes the job a lot harder apparently.
I’ll keep it in mind lol ;)
