Nice knowing you. And just when I had decided to bankroll your new store. :-)

Yea, I think that’s why they have to do a trench.

@Hemmdog

Check around for a company that has the equipment to pull a sleeve through your old pipe. It cost way less and is a permanent fix. They might even be able to do it in a day or two. We recently had to do it in our church that had old Orangeburg pipe (asphalt).

The process burst the old pipe and pulls the correct size new pipe into place without digging up the foundation or the whole floor. If we have people with the equipment and technology in Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington I know you will have a local resource.

That's one of the many reasons I'll never live on a slab house. I work a guy that had a leak in an old house of his when he lived in Georgia. He ended up renting a Jack hammer, chiseling up his bedroom floor, fixing the pipe and pouring concrete back in, then redoing the floors.

I'll stick with a crawlspace, thank you. I can see all my pipes until it goes out the house to the septic, and that's a 15' run a foot under ground. Easily enough to dig up.

Ive got a problem. Well my friend does. He went out and bought a custom stand from an individual and tank. The seam popped no problem there. But the diy stand is warped. Thats the major problem. Any suggestions on a quick stand.

On a side note he pd for it with out letting me inspect everything. So the deal was done before I got involved.

This is when I wish you guys all lived closer. I could literally knock out a 2x4 stand in under an hour for most tanks. Even a decent looking plywood stand can be built very quickly. It's the finish that takes time.

How big of a tank? Like dimensions.

That sounds like a easier solution, I’ll see what I can figure out. Thanks for the input !

48*13*21 standard 55 gallon tank. If you got plans I could use them

Google rocket engineer aquarium stand.

You can sit a truck on these things... seriously, they are that strong. I put one together for a friend with scrap 2x6 and 2x4 I had in the shop. Only reason I used 2x6 for the top rail was because I had them. The thing is solid and bomb proof.

I’ve built a few following the king of DIYs method and they are rock solid. He’s got a couple of good videos on it. Like @dantimdad said, you can knock one those out fast.
Agreed. His videos are user friendly.
