Hey man I just received one of these sterilizers. I'm having trouble finding info on it and was hoping to ask you questions qbout it if you don't mind.

1. I want to use the 3/4" bushings, do I need to use pvc glue to attach them to the uv?

2. It will be used on a 100g system, what sort of flow would I be wanting to run through it? Mostly wanting to keep parasite numbers down, and plan on using a separate pump to just loop it in/out of sump.

I know all sterilizers have different flow needs so was hoping you may know. Thank you

I never used unit but know it very well when I ran my pet store
Sicce 2.0 or 3.0 will work well but use a shut off valve for flow control if/when needed
I would not use pvc glue unless you plan on keeping unit long term

Thank you. I'd rather not glue it either but the bushings just slip in and didn't know if there was potential for leaks. I was hoping my current 400gph pump will work for it but if it needs higher flow I will

That pump should be fine- you don’t want fast flow but not too slow either
You want subtle flow through the column
