I learned about using UV sterilizer after a private tour behind the scene at Charleston Public Aquarium. Every setup they had was connected to one or two UV sterilizer. I learned that it is very important for success.

I invested in 80w, and for 7 years, my tank never crashed and I never had any major algae problems or disease outbreak. I believe it helped me along with other husbandry practice. I sold my tank, and it is now up for sale. The light bulb needs to be replaced.
