Brand new to reef tanks

What's up everyone. My boss recently gave me a tank when I moved into my house so I'm trying to learn as much as I can so that I don't mess it all up so anything you guys have that can help please let me know

You should create a plan as to what type of tank you want, but before you do that watch "52 Weeks of reefing" from BulkReefSupply. It gives you a good grasp on the foundation of the hobby.
