Just bought a 30gal Nuvo off of craigslist a few days ago, had been established for a year. Today, I come home to find bristle worms scattered across the sand bed, large and small, looking, quite lethargic if not dead. Stress of move? Some other issue? Should I remove them? Help. :)

salinity 1.026
pH 8.1
ammonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 2
phosphate .25
kH 10
calcium 420

I know phosphates are a bit high...previous owner had kind of forgotten about the tank, I have a lot of cleaning to do.

I bet it's stress. Another possibility is that the bristle worms are slowly waiting for the snails demise, omnomnom.

I misread small as snail lo.
But it's probably stress.
