Hi I just recently added several fully quarantined tangs to my system and all have acclimated well except for a two spot bristletooth. The bristletooth has essentially been glass surfing various sides of the aquarium for the better part of two weeks. I have not noticed him eating the prepared foods I’ve been feeding but he does stop every once in awhile to pick at the sand and rocks. Up until today I chalked it up to general stress and figured he would get over it at some point. But, today I noticed a small abrasion or lesion of sorts on his left side. I’m not sure if it’s a scrape or maybe a sign of something worse. I attempted to get a picture but he’s constantly moving and difficult to photograph in the blue light.

help is appreciated

Yes, blue lights are pretty much useless for fish disease diagnosis.

The lesion seems to be in an odd spot to be caused by glass surfing though.

What foods was he fed during quarantine?
What foods are you trying now?

For the glass surfing, that can be tough to correct - I've tried black paper taped to the outside of the tank, but doesn't often help.

To add on to @Jay Hemdal, it may be seeing its reflection and becoming aggressive to its own reflection.

He ate mysis and brine in quarantine. I feed mysis every day along with a variation of algae flakes, tdo pellets, and thera A pellets.
