Broken briarium stalk (corky sea finger)- epoxy?

Got a sea finger frag but it's nearly broken at the base. Hermits aren't helping. Can I safely epoxy this into its upright position?

Yes or any other super glue will work. I've never had any issues with mine when using putty or glue.
