Broken coral

While doing a water change I accidentally bumped one of my sps corals and it broke off near the base on the right I re glued the other portion down will the original base regrow ?

Both of them will likely grow. The old one will typically branch different. Possibly encrust a bit more before branching againg, but it should grow :)
